This one is an evolution of an earlier piece titled No Way Out, created in 2017, picturing a man banging his head against the wall, trapped in a house on fire with a blocked door.
A couple of weeks ago, I thought it was about time to reimagine it.
In this version, someone new emerges with grace into a new beginning. She's carrying a couple of tree branches as a sign of growth and renewal. The old backdrop acquires a different meaning in her presence – I see it as a vivid celebration of life.
