2026 (Vilnius, Lithuania)
150 x 100 cm
Acrylic, gold leaf on stretched canvas
It was inspired by Alice in Wonderland, a story about falling down a rabbit hole and ending up somewhere completely unknown. For me, the rabbit hole is about that moment when you leave what you know, everything new seems strange yet, and you don’t really know what’s going to happen next. Alice is blue because she feels different, and her pink hair is something she’s chosen for herself. The rabbit is there with his watch because even when you’re lost, time keeps moving. The hearts and spades are about love, choices, and the good and bad things you find along the way. This painting is about getting lost, changing, and not knowing who you’ll be when you come out the other side.
